Privacy policy
Privacy, kept simple.
In short
- The Isofall app collects no personal data. It has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.
- Your best score and your sound and touch-feedback settings stay on your iPhone.
- This website uses no cookies and no analytics.
- If you use the contact form, the details you send are stored so your message can be answered, and are deleted on request.
Who we are
Isofall and this website are published by James Tan, an independent developer (“we”, “us”). You can reach us through the contact form.
The Isofall app
What the app stores, on your device only
- Your best score.
- Whether sound effects are on or off.
- Whether touch feedback (haptics) is on or off.
These are saved in the app's own storage on your iPhone. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes them, although a device backup made earlier (for example, an iCloud or computer backup) can restore them along with the app.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect, sell or share personal information.
- It has no accounts, sign-in, advertising, analytics or tracking, and contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking code.
- It has no in-app purchases.
- It does not use the internet. Every game is played entirely on your device.
- It does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone or other personal data.
Apple
You download Isofall from Apple's App Store, which Apple operates under its own privacy policy. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give us crash reports and aggregated statistics, such as installs. Apple does not tell us who you are. We use this information only to understand and fix problems, and you can turn sharing off at any time in those settings.
This website
No cookies, analytics or trackers
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking. Everything on its pages, including images and videos, is served from this site, with no requests to third parties.
The contact form
When you send a message, we store:
- your email address,
- your name, if you choose to give it,
- the topic you pick (general question, bug report or privacy request), and
- your message, with the date and time it was received.
We use these details only to read and answer your message and, for bug reports, to fix the problem you describe. We do not use them for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone except the hosting provider described below. Messages are kept in the site's database while they are needed to answer you and follow up, and are deleted when you ask.
To limit spam, the site briefly keeps a count of recent submissions for each IP address in memory. This count is not saved to the database and is discarded within 15 minutes.
Hosting and server logs
This website and its database are hosted by Railway. To deliver and protect the service, Railway processes standard request information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, under Railway's privacy policy. The site's own logs record only the type of request, the page path, the response status and timing. They do not include IP addresses, email addresses or anything you type into the form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete anything you have sent through the contact form. Use the contact form, choose the topic Privacy request, and send it from the same email address you used before so we can find your messages. We will confirm by email when the request is complete. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as the right to complain to a data protection authority.
We process contact-form details because you ask us to respond, and because we have a legitimate interest in supporting the game.
Children
The Isofall app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The contact form is meant for adults or for use with a parent's help. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, use a privacy request and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above. If a future version of the app works differently, for example by using the network, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
